Kootenay Rockies Legacy Fund for Young Athletes
The Mountains of Gold Tournament is pleased to support the
Kootenay Rockies Legacy fund for Young Athletes.
The fund aims to provide much needed financial support to young
individuals from the region that show both talent and potential in
sports or athletic pursuit, yet lack the financial means to pursue,
develop and succeed within their chosen field.
The fund will also have the wider goal of supporting and developing
youth sports within the region.
The objective of the Kootenay Rockies Mountains of Gold
is to build a trust fund in excess of $2.5 Million
dollars over 5 years with up to $250,000 per year allocated to
young talent.
