What Pros Need to Know
- Featuring a $1,000,000 top prize, this is the largest tournament cash prize in Western Canada - and the chance of a lifetime for golf Pros!
- Only 100 golf Pros will qualify to play in the Gold Rush Tournament
- The top 100 Pros who have had the most Amateur golfers register under their name by May 14, 2010 will qualify to come and play in the Gold Rush Tournament between September 16-19, 2010.
- A monthly newsletter will be sent to all Pros that have registered their interest keeping them updated on who the top 100 Pros are and how many golfers they have registered
- The Pro does not have to come down throughout the summer and play with the Amateurs that they have registered
- The Pro will not play on a team with the Amateurs they have registered
- 100 Pros will qualify to play in the 3 day Gold Rush Tournament (Sept. 16-18, 2010) based on amateur registration. From that group 12 Pros will qualify to play in the 4th and Final Day of the Gold Rush Tournament with 36 Amateurs
- All 12 Pros and 36 Amateurs that make the final day will walk away with a cash prize
- All Pros will play from a 0 handicap, and will compete against Amateur golfers that have been given a handicap from the 2010 Mountains of Gold Rules and Regulation Board
- This competetion is open to all Club Pros, Assistant Pros, or any other form of Pro
- There is no cost for Pro registration
- All that is required of the Pro is to let golfers know to inform the Mountains of Gold Booking Agents that they are booking under that Pro's name
